We drew what we thought we would look like when we were 100 years old. (Don't you love the walking cane and gray hair?!)
This was my outfit for the day -- a jean jacket made with 100 bows covering it (just like Miss Bindergarten!). My mom made it for me!
(I can't get it to rotate...sorry!)
We made hats from an old Mailbox magazine that has buses to count by tens.
We also made 100 Fruit Loop necklaces. These necklaces were not hard to make. I gave each child a ten frame and they made a set of 10 Fruit Loops of one color. Then they put this set on their yarn which was taped to to table. The other other end of the yarn was wrapped with Scotch tape to make it easier to string the Fruit Loops.
I hope this will give you some inspiration if your 100th day is coming up!
Ahhh... love those necklaces, they always smell soooo good. Cute post!

THANKS!! I was already planning on a fruit loop necklace but your suggestion about the 10s frame is SO FREAKING SMART! My life will now be easier. Subscribing to your blog! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great idea! I will be using it this year for the first time! Funny story...today was supposed to be our 100th day of school, but Maine is in the middle of a history making blizzard so we had a lovely snow day today...an extra weekend for planning our 100th day is a gift for sure! Thanks for such a wonderful blog, I adore it! :)
