Loving Valentine's Day!

First let me say a great big THANK YOU! I had a final donation to my Donors Choose project - "Books Within Our Reach" to complete it. I am so excited and can't wait to get our new bookshelf in our reading center!
Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays so I decided to share some more activities with you.

I created this counting sheet to use with my kiddos. I still have quite a few kids that can not count up to 20 objects and some that can count up to 20 but don't know how to write the correct numeral to correspond with the amount counted.

I created this game to have my kinderkids practice sorting words by syllables. They are still having some difficulty with this standard and playing a game always interests them. I printed the game on cardstock and cut apart before laminating the pieces.

If you choose to use any of these activities, please leave me a comment! Thanks!!

  1. Thanks for the new activities! Congrats on your donor project!

  2. Thank you for sharing these valentines activites. Will be using them with my k kids. So happy for you that you got your donors choose project funded. Amy

  3. I can't wait to use the syllable sort in my pocket chart center! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Thanks for the fun freebies! The counting practice will be great for morning work! I'm thinking the syllable sort will be a fun station with a recording sheet for accountability! Thanks!

  5. This will be great for my homework pack! Thanks so much!
